And the card number is...

Reports from India suggests that a Cape Town, South African duo have been busted for trying to use other people's credit cards.

What surprised me about the report in The Express newspaper (not the UK paper of the same name) was the fact that, along with their names, Calra Moore, 48, of Johannesburg and Allen Taylor, 27, of Nigeria, the news report detailed the card numbers used by the alleged fraudsters.

The Indian paper reports that "the police have also recovered two forged credit cards (Visa no. 4787690012532031 and Standard Bank of South Africa no. 5221261090037763) from their possession."

Er, isn't this a little over the top? Detailing the numbers is not a very good idea IMHO, as the numbers could be used for other online fraud.

Or am I mistaken?
