Taiwan second in Asian network hacking stakes

Interesting to read over the weekend that Taiwan has the second worst Web site security among Asian countries, posting five network-hacking cases per day, second only to China.

According to a report in the China Post, research conducted by IT security vendor Tipping Point and a number of Asian government agencies, hackers are moving away from using viruses to knacker (that's a technical term -Ed) company networks and into attacking specific online networks and Web sites,.

So far this year, there have been a total of over 465 Web site hacking incidents in Taiwan reported, averaging five cases per day.
