My favourite anti-malware firm of the moment, Cloudmark, has opened its first European headquarters, a move the company says is in direct response to the 110 revenue growth it experienced worldwide over the last 12 months.
The move will allow the company to service its direct customers in Europe, as well as its growing number of ISP customers, including Thus/Demon, Tele2, UPC Chello and FastWeb.
The company has appointed Paul Averill as vice president of sales, as well as Neil Cook, head of technology services for the EMEA area.
According to Cloudmark, its services is currently protecting more than 180 million mailboxes worldwide, and more than 80 of the world's largest service providers, including NT Communications, Cox Communications, Charter Communications and Vodafone.
All good stuff. As long they carry on servicing the needs of end users as well as the bigger ISPs, I'll stay happy...
