Blue Ray's AACS copy protection hacked in less than 24 hours

It looks like Sony and its coding developers is hitting serious problems with the AACS copy protection system seen on its Blue ray range of high definition DVD players.

Reports from the US over the weekend suggest that the new version of AACS copy protection - released last week - was thoroughly cracked within 24 hours of its release.

A hacker by the name of "BtCB" posted the latest key, which begins with "45 5F" and ends with "2A B2," on the Freedom to Tinker Web portal and, according to specialist newswire reports, the key has spread far and wide since then.
