Free Live Security Vulnerability Feed!

People who work in IT security are, in general, lucky dudes and dudesses! Being present at the recent FIRST conference confirmed this. Whether they were handling botnet attacks, analysing forensics, or working with law enforcement agencies and creating computer emergency response policy – practically everyone appeared to be enthusiastic in the roles they had.

This is my final blog on this year’s FIRST conference and rather than bore you with a list of thank yous, I thought I’d mention the live security feed seen on the wall that displayed the latest headlines and information on anything that could compromise your computer security. The headlines included everything from a newly discovered vulnerability to an earthquake that could affect the security of systems. If you wish to have this in your favourites folder here is the web-site www.e-secure-it.com/

A quick snapshot of the headlines quickly tells me about a cyber attack on the Pentagon and red alert regarding a new remote SQL injection vulnerability.

Warmest wishes

And take care for now
