Dutch Palace editing Wiki entries on Princess Mabel

Newswire reports from the Netherlands suggest that a Wikipedia entry on `controversial' Dutch Princess Mabel has been edited by a computer tracked back to the palace of Queen Beatrix.

According to Dutch News.nl, the edit took out a reference that Princess Mabel had given false information to the government.

The newswire says that a PC with an IP address registered to the palace amended a sentence in the entry saying that Mabel had given "incomplete and false information" to the government over her relationship with drug baron Klaas Bruinsma.

It was changed to say she had given "incomplete information", NRC Handelsblad, a Dutch daily paper, said.
