Facebook CEO shares info at Web 2.0 summit

Facebook's founder Mark Zuckerberg answered some interesting questions from Industry veteran, John Battelle, at the Web 2.0 summit in San Francisco.

He provided with some interesting tidbits about the company.

New financing has "almost been wrapped up", the company will make a profit fairly soon and the employee headcount will nearly double in 2008 to reach 700.

Zuckerberg apparently has no intention to have a Facebook Initial Public Offering anytime soon and decline to comment on whether the company is worth the estimated pricetag of USD 15 bn.

Facebook now has around 6000 apps in store and this number is increasing daily as 100,000 developers toil to add to this number.
