Google shares crossed the USD 700 barrier yesterday and are set to increase even more today as Google backed Open Social was officially launched last night.
The shares ended slightly down last night at USD 703.21 although it did gained a fraction of a percent after NASDAQ was closed.
Google Market Capitalisation now stands at USD 219.5 bn and its share prices rose from USD 600 to USD 700 in less than 3 weeks.
Google has been particularly busy this week as Open Social is launched and rumours of a Google mobile phone platform have emerged.
News was also out that Google was now the biggest advertisement spending recipient in UK, surpassing ITV.
On top of that, Telecom Giant, Verizon and Google are now best buddies again after the two fell out over the auction of the 700MHz Wireless Spectrum in the US, paving the way to a possible partnership.
