Trusted Stack Issues

One of the great things about FIRST is that they’ll have one speaker talk about a topic and another speaker that gives you a slightly different view and sometimes very opposite perspectives.

I felt that the two Wednesday keynote speakers, Ivan Krstić and Microsoft's George Stathakopolous together with the Thursday keynote speaker, John Stewart from Cisco balanced one another well.

However after listening to each perspective, my own conclusions were that the Trusted Stack Model can only be an idealistic framework that we’ll arrive at some day where some day means an incredibly long way off unless we change our security model.

The next few blogs give my perspective only. You can get other perspectives from organisations such as the Trusted Computing Group.
