In its results for the financial year 2008, Microsoft has stated that it has sold as many as 180 million copies of Windows Vista, since its launch in January 2007. In its annual financial statement, Microsoft has announced that the company has generated revenues worth $60 billion, with a 25% increase in its yearly net income.
