Epson's HD Projectors Come With DVD Bells and USB Whistles

Epson has rolled out its all new series of High Definition (HD), easy to install home cinema projectors, at the ongoing IFA fair in Berlin.

The new EH-DM2 projector from the house of Epson, primarily aims to impress movie and gaming freaks, and hence, includes all the necessary attributes, such as – a built-in DVD player, USB support, surround sound speakers, and an exclusive gaming mode that enhances the image response time, making it suitable for large screen Wii gaming.

The other member of the series, EH-TW420, boasts of some key features including, an HDMI input, 720 pixels resolution, component video, and a remarkable brightness of 2000 ANSI lumens, which allows crystal clear daytime viewing of the content; further, it also sports a couple of 7W speakers, a special gaming mode - DarkWall option - and a SD card slot for displaying impressive slideshow of images.

The EH-DM2 is expected to cost around GBP500, and the EH-TW420 is expected to ship at GBP650, and the entire range is expected to hit the floor in the last quarter of this year.
