Top 10 Mobile Contracts Costing GBP10 or less
Because of the credit crunch, more people will be cutting their telecoms budget and trying to get cheaper mobile phone contracts. We've rounded 10 contracts on the market, a mix of SIM only and SIM + Phone under £10. They even include an unlimited texter tariff as well as one with a 5-megapixel camera.
(1) O2
O2 has a £10 Pay Monthly SIM only Simplicity tariff that is only available online and gives you 150 UK minutes and 300 UK texts each month although it is only available until the 31st of December 2008. O2 also provides with free voicemail and free itemised billing plus you can browse the net for only £1 per day. For an additional £7.34, you can get 8mbps ADSL "Standard" broadband which will give you an additional 100 web texts per month.
(2) Vodafone
If you are a massive texter, then choose the Vodafone £10 contract which gives you 75 minutes and 500 texts with only 30 days notice if you need to leave them. They charge for voicemail though and you will be charged 40p per minute once you used your inclusive minutes.
(3) Three
Three has a £9 Promotional plan that gives you free IM, Skype, 300 minutes of 3-to-3 calls and free voicemail plus a Sony Ericsson K660i mobile phone that also comes with a 256MB memory card. The 18-month plan which launched yesterday will last till the end of December and is UK's cheapest.
