Human Powered TV Remote Control Gets Launched

If you are really sick of changing batteries of your TV’s remote control again and again, then its time rejoice as a manufacturer has introduced a ‘Wind-Up’ remote control to address the issue.

Launched by EZ Power, the Wind-Up remote control requires little amount of energy to produce and store electricity in its in-built rechargeable battery.

This energy-efficient remote control requires 30 shuttles on its dial at the base of the equipment, so as to make it operable.

After providing preset amount of turns, the device remains fully charged for up to seven days, before it would require more turns for recharging; in addition, the remote control is fully equipped to monitor most of the electronic boxes, such as DVD player, VCR, satellite box, Cable box, TV, and other add-on appliance, like home-theater system.

According to the company, the new device is developed for “bringing an end to the frustration of remote controls running out of juice at the crucial moment”.

This ‘eco-friendly’ remote control is said to be compatible with the products from all the major brands in electronics, including Sony, Samsung, Panasonic, and Phillips.

The price tag for this stunning device is £19.53, and it can be purchased from the Ethical Superstore.
