Sharapova Unveils The Sony Ericsson T707 Clamshell Phone

Mobile phone manufacturer Sony Ericsson has released a retro looking but rather stylish clamshell mobile phone called the T707, under the patronage of style icon and tennis high priest, Maria Sharapova.

According to the mobile firm, the sports woman, who is the brand ambassador, epitomises the phone’s sleek and elegant qualities and Ms Sharapova was caught on record saying that the T707 is her ultimate new accessory  that easy to use and offers personalised pulsation settings.

That is certainly one of the main attraction of an otherwise unimpressive phone. The clamshell phone lights up when the user receive a call and can change its light settings depending on who calls.

Should the user be too busy, s/he can end a mute by waving his/her hand over the screen and the same gesture will snooze any alarm. The rest of the phone's specification is pretty much standard.

There's a 3.2 megapixel camera with a 3.2x digital zoom, will be available in rose, blue and black, comes with an FM radio, voice recorder, stereo Bluetooth and is quad band compatible which means that you should be able to use it anywhere in the world.

Other features include 3G compatibility, Geotagging features, Google Maps and 3D motion games together with a secondary monochrome OLED screen.

The T707 has already been compared to the W508 and has been described as the non-Walkman version of the latter. The 100MB of internal storage will certainly not be enough to play any decent amount of money but the phone does accommodate Memory Stick Pro and microSD as well.
