Microsoft has had to massively cut the price of the Xbox 360 in September 2008 with the arcade version dropping to £130 and the 60GB model sinking to £169. The Xbox has therefore managed to become the cheapest cnosole on the market with the Nintendo Wii still selling for around £180.
