Acer Launches Android-based Liquid Smartphone With Snapdragon Inside

Taiwanese manufacturer Acer has demoed a new smartphone called the Liquid which is build around an ARM-based Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1GHz which runs on Google's Android 1.6 OS. It is the first time that the two components are brought together by a major manufacturer and the Liquid itself is a rebranded A1 smartphone (ed: didn't it run on Windows Mobile before?).
