We don't know much about WiFi Direct for now. What about the range (a few yards)? What about the transfer rate and the power consumption. WiFi is notoriously power hungry compared to Bluetooth and the WiFi alliance will have to work pretty hard to outweigh Bluetooth. Now if only they could get something out to rival Wireless HDMI.
