In a move that could benefit both internet service providers (ISPs) and users, peer-to-peer software outfit Bit Torrent has completely restructured its protocol, so that it can efficiently handle the connection throttling attempts from ISPs. Bit Torrent asserted that its latest version of the protocol, codenamed as Utorrent 2.0, or ‘uTP’, which is as of now being trialled by a number of users, would do away with the requirement for ISPs to throttle or cease...
