O2 stores get HD2

The HD2 is the first HTC phone to be openly sold on the O2 network, previous HTC kit was own-branded with an XDA logo. Claiming a place for itself, HTC are currently blitzing the UK with advertising, taking advantage of cash-strapped ITV and snapping up top ad spots in shows like X-Factor.

The video premiers top level info about the first capacitive touchscreen powered by windows mobile, and also gives us a first look at an O2 Phone Guru in action. This is a brand new store position set up to build product engagement and knowledge within each store team, and to demo directly to customers. Earning £15.5K plus benefits, the job is customer focused and not driven by sales commission. I’d rather speak to Jason than to a sales rep.

A full review of the HD2 will follow, plus me know what you think of O2 Gurus.
