Nexus One app phone stripped bare

Those cheeky vandals at Ifixit have splashed out $530 on Google's Iphone-chasing Nexus one app phone and ripped it to bits just for fun.

The handset - which features a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 3.7-inch 480x800 widescreen WVGA AMOLED display, 5MP digital camera with LED flash that also records mp4 video, 802.11n wireless capability and a removable 3.7V, 1400 mAh lithium battery - is described as "exceptionally cool" by the screwdriver-wielding nutcacses at Ifixit.

It's not clear if they managed to glue it back together again after the painful operation, but you can see the dissection in all its gory detail here.
