AMD became the first to fully support DirectX 11 yesterday, with the introduction of ths mainstream ATI Radeon HD 5670 graphics card.
AMD has priced the card at less than USD $100, as the flabless one benefits from being the first to bing its discrete 40nm design into production.
Aimed at the mass of gamers on a budget, the card supports DX 9, DX 10/10.1 and OpenGL and AMD promises up to 20 per cent better performance over "the closest competing product in its class."
The card uses AMD's Stream technology to boost performance in video playback and productivity applications. Eyefinity technology allows up to three displays to be used with a single card.
We'll have a full review very soon so keep yer eyes peeled.
