Brown bread

A 42-year-old Taiwanese man keeled over and died after watching much-hyped Golden Globes winning film Avatar in 3D.

A doctor said the man had a history of high blood pressure and died of a stroke triggered by over-excitement, AFP reports.

The man seems to have suffered a stroke while watching the 3D extravaganza in a cinema in the northen "windy" city of Hsinchu. He died 11 days later.

Doctor Peng Chin-chih of the Nan Men General Hospital said the man, named only as Kuo,  was unconscious when he arrived in the emergency room. He was suffering a brain haemorrhage.
