Sony outs Vaio Z ultra-mobile duo

Futher adding to the laptop naming convention confusion, Sony has expanded its Vaio range of swanky luggables with a pair of what it is calling ultra mobile notebooks.

The two Z series luggables feature ultra fast file access with up to 256GB of Quad SSD (in RAID 0 format) and up to 6GB of RAM in the top-of-the-range model.

The VPC-Z11Z9E and VAIO VPC-Z11X9E come with 2.66GHz and 2.4GHz Intel Core-i7 processors respectively and both have Nvidia GeForce GT330M 1GB GPUs.

Following in the usual Vaio tradition, these stylish lappies are definitley not built down to a price so don't expect them to cheap when the pricing is revealed at the end of March.
