Apple ban mention of Google
05 February, 2010
Thou shalt not mention unto thee any graven rival platform
Apple will tolerate no mention of Google products on its App Store. Flash of Genius, a tiny app intended to help students study vocabulary that is available via download on both Android mobiles and iPhones, was barred by Apple from mentioning its status as a finalist in Google’s Android Developer Challenge.
Snotty emails branding the fact as "inappropriate or irrelevant platform information" forced the developer to remove the mention from the App Store synopsis.
The Lord thy Jobs, is a jealous Jobs.
