O2 offers sim only tariffs for iPhone

From £15 a month

Having lost its exclusive deal for Apple's iPhone, O2 is taking on competition from Orange, Vodafone and Tesco mobile by offering existing iPhone owners cheaper, sim-only contracts.

Anyone willing to sign up for a 12-month contract will get 300 minutes of calls, unlimited texts and unfettered data and wifi access for £15 a month. Yearly contracts come in a variety of flavours - all including unlimited texts and data - rising in £5 increments up to the top tier which sits at £45 for unlimited everything.

The company is also offering monthly rolling contracts with the same amount of minutes for a fiver per month extra.
