LG outs first Windows Phone 7 handset

Microsoft's Aaron Woodman surprised punters at the Engadget Show in New York by pulling out an early pre-production prototype of LG's first app phone running the Windows Phone 7 Series operating system.

The handset, which Engadget describes as being slightly thicker than an iPhone, has the expected three buttons on the bottom bezel and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, as well as a forward-facing 5 megapixel camera with flash.

Other technical specifications were not revealed but you can see pics and video of the prototype here.
