Intel AppUp marches into Europe

Intel announced today that its netbook application marketplace now supports Linux and will soon be coming to Europe.

The service, AppUp Centre, which offers cut-down games, entertainment and social media apps built especially for hardware running the company's Atom CPUs, now supports Moblin 2.1 Linux as well as Windows.

The service, which seems to be in a Google-like state of constant beta, trying to follow Apple's App Store model by supplying coders with free development tools and the like.

The European roll-our will start on March 31st in 27 countries.
