Apple will continue its policy of releasing a new iPhone every year if rumours are to be believed.
The fourth generation of the Holy Handset of Cupertino will, according to the Wall Street Journal among other sources, turn up on Tuesday Junes 22nd, in line with the date of previous releases.
The rumour mill is predicting that the new model will be dubbed iPhone HD and will, as the name suggests, have a drastically upgraded 960 x 640 display. General consensus is that the handset will be powered by Apple's home-grown A4 SoC as seen in the forthcoming iPad.
Other unverified technical specs include a front-facing camera and multitasking for third party Apps but, as always with the notorioulsy secretive company, nothing will be truly set in stone until Steve steps onto the stage.
