FirstPlay Virtual Magazine Lands On Playstation 3 Consoles

Sony Corporation, the Japanese consumer electronics giant, has dished out the very first episode of its interactive show, FirstPlay, for Playstation 3 gaming console users.

Delivered via the PlayStation Network (PSN), the fully interactive platform  will include high definition content such as gaming content, previews and videos reviews.

FirstPlay, which was earlier known as the Official PlayStation Magazine HD, has been created by Future Publishing, the company behind Techradar.com, as an interactive, media rich HD electronic magazine for PS3 users, to be made available to them over the PSN, on a weekly basis.

The first episode of FirstPlay, which can be subscribed by paying 99 pence per episode or £8.99 for 90 days, will feature exciting HD content, including a review of Just Cause 2.

It will come with an in-game item, a detailed  look into the newly launched God of War 3 and a preview of Fifa World Cup 2010 by Electronic Arts.

In an official statement released by the company, Future Publishing, explaining the various media rich content that comes with the show, said that “ With a vast variety of content available through the PlayStation Network, FirstPlay's Network Highlights section brings a round-up of the latest PlayStation Minis, films and digital comics in a weekly package.”
