New graphics, processor and power-saving features

Ubergeek, Linus Torvalds has released Linux version 2.6.34.

The new release adds support for two new file systems as well as some new and upcoming graphics chips from both Nvidia and AMD.

The kernel also adds some support for the latest power-saving technologies increasingly built into the latest hardware.

As you'd expect many new and extended drivers appear in the release along with support for a bunch of Intel processors and chipsets which will be introduced over the coming year.
