ATI unleashes Catalyst 10.5 driver

AMD bolstered its commitment to the Open Stereo 3D Initiative today, as it announced that the latest Catalyst 10.5 driver will support 120Hz displays on older Radeon HD 4000 and 3000-series GPUs. The high refresh rate is needed to generate an eye-friendly stereoscopic image, with each eye seeing a 60Hz refresh rate.
