Developers creating software for Apple's App Store can now keep track of application sales using the newly released iTunes Connect Mobile application.
Apple has provide access to iTunes Connect, the back-end portal for the App Store, from the new iTunes Connect Mobile, to help application developers access their sales charts from anywhere in the world.
Developers whose applications are featured in the iTunes App Store will now be able to receive daily and weekly statistics regarding the download trend of their paid-for and free applications available on the platform.
The company has so far only released a screenshot of the iTunes Connect Mobile application for applications in its iPhone App Store, and not for its iPad store, puzzling many developers.
iPad owners currently have to zoom in to view the app properly, indicating that the app is only designed for the developers of applications for the iPhone.
iPhone Mobile Connect is available for free on iPhone operating system 3.0 or newer.
