News@10: Dell Courts Google, BT Gives Unlimited Wi-Fi To Broadband Customers & Google Quizzed By CNIL

Dell appears to be distancing itself from Microsoft's Windows operating system. It is believed that Dell might drop Windows and forge ties with Microsoft rival Google as it prepares to launch its Chrome OS.

Telecommunications giant BT has announced that it will be giving unlimited Wi-Fi access to its Total broadband customers via BT Fon and BT Openzone wireless hotspots acrsoss the country.

Mark Zuckerberg, the 26-year old CEO of Facebook, the world's largest social networking website, came to London for the company's Facebook Developer Garage. He also used this opportunity to meet with Culture Secretary, Jeremy Hunt.

Orange has announced via Twitter that it will be giving microSIM adaptors for its iPhone 4 customers for free. The adaptors will allow the diminutive card to be converted to a regular sized one.

French data protection agency Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) has reported that Google stored passwords and e-mail IDs from unsecured Wi-Fi data connections in France while collecting data for its Street View service.
