ITN has signed a deal with Iliffe News and Media to feature its video news content on websites owned by Iliffe, The Guardian has reported.
The deal, part of ITN's Premium News Network, will allow video news relating to business, sports, UK, entertainment and world news to be published on 24 of Iliffe's network of news websites.
The company said contextual advertising will run alongside the videos, which will be delivered by Blinkx.
ITN aims to create an advertising network that can be used by advertisers to reach audiences around the world.
ITN has also struck a similar advertising revenue deals with satirical news blog the Daily Mash, which will feature entertainment and sports video news on its website.
The deals with Iliffe News and Media and the Daily Mash follow the inclusion of the Midland News Association to ITN's Premium News Network.
In a statement to The Guardian, Mark Browning, the managing director of ITN Productions, said: “For ad planners, it streamlines campaign planning because using Blinkx video on demand means there is a single contact for ad sales, content and technology.”
