Blackberry Twitter finally out of beta

RIM has released the final public of its Twitter App for Blackberry handsets after many months in beta.

The new software uses push notifications to deliver tweets as soon as they arrive and can also fire tweets straight into your mailbox without having to run the app if that's what floats your boat.

The Canadian company has made loads of tweaks to the software since it first arrived it beta form way back in February and, thanks to loads of user feedback, now offers a more polished look, better cacheing, time-line support, trending topics, auto complete for user names and auto update.

The free app requires the BlackBerry smartphone operating system 4.5.0 or higher to run and is available from Blackberry App World now.
