Apple updates iPad OS

Apple has released the iOS 3.2.1 software update for its iPad device.

The iOS update is supposed to fix problems that some users have had with their Wi-Fi connectivity.

Many iPad owners complained of weak Wi-Fi signals, slow download speeds and the occasional dropped connection. Some were possibly holding it wrong. Apple Said it was aware of the problem here

In addition to the Wi-Fi problem, the update will fix a bug which prevents the copying and pasting of PDF attachments in Mail, and another that freezes the device's video player. Improvements have been made to the reliability of the tablet's video-out function when using the iPad Dock connector to VGA adapter.

The update also adds Microsoft''s Bing search engine to the search options of the Safari web browser.

Apple announced that Bing would become a secondary search option for the iPad on its Safari Browser at the company's World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June.

The update will be available for both Wi-Fi only, and Wi-Fi/3G iPads, and can be downloaded directly from iTunes. More information on the iOS 3.2.1 update is available on the Apple discussions page.
