While Game, HMV and Amazon are selling the peripheral for £130, Zavvi.com is selling the Kinect Sensor with Kinect Adventures for a mere £114.85 after entering the discount voucher ZAVVIFIVE at checkout.

In a bid to revive the FM Radio, broadcasters and music labels have appealed to the US Congress to force manufacturers to build FM receivers into all smartphones and portable devices. The National Association of Broadcasters and the RIAA have launched a campaign to mandate the inclusion of FM receivers on portable consumer electronic devices.

More rumours have surfaced about the potential launch of a 7-inch Apple iPad later this year, according to newspapers in Taiwan. Apple has pulled the Grooveshark application from the App Store following a complaint from the Universal Music Group UK. Grooveshark for iPhone allows users to stream unlimited music on their smartphone by paying a fee of $3 every month, significantly less than what is charged by other services.

Researchers at the London School of Economics have launched a new iPhone application designed to allow them to determine that happiness of Brits in relation to their immediate environment. Mappiness will allow researchers to study the impact of the environment, such as pollution, noise and weather, on a person's feelings.
