HTC Desire Too Expensive? Get The T-Mobile Pulse Mini Instead For £80

T-Mobile is having a flash sale today and is slashing the price of its pay as you go smartphones by 20 per cent until 10pm tonight.

Those looking to buy an Android handset should take a look at the T-Mobile Pulse mini which sports the Google mobile platform and packs some pretty impressive features for £79.99 (down from £99.99).

Not only do you get free texts for life (when you top up £10 a month) and six months internet free, there's also a 3.2-megapixel camera with zoom and flash, 3G and GPS, the ability to use your phone as a modem/3G dongle, a FM radio with a talktime of up to 4 hours.

The phone runs Android OS 2.1, the same as the HTC Desire, and its 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display will require a stylus because it is a resistive rather than a capacitive model; T-Mobile has thrown in a 2GB microSD memory card.
