HTC Google Chrome OS Tablet Details Revealed

The technical capabilities that are set to power Google's Chrome OS tablet have surface today.

Tech news site Electric Pig reveals Israeli news outfit Haaretz has reported that internet giant Google has plans to use an Israeli technology firm for its Chrome-based tablet computer.

Haaretz states that the Google Chrome OS tablet, which is rumoured to come with Nvidia’s Tegra 2 graphics, a 1280×720 resolution screen, 2GB of RAM, 32GB SSD, GPS, webcam, Wi-Fi, and 3G capabilities, will utilise touch screen technology from Israel-based company N-trigs.

The tablet computer, which has not yet been confirmed from either Google or by HTC, is expected to hit market shelves by 26 November under a deal with US mobile network carrier Verizon.

N-trigs has also offered its technology to Microsoft’s Windows 7 as the companies have not signed an exclusivity deal.
