Apple Media Event Planned For 7 September

Apple is reportedly planning to hold a media event on 7 September in San Francisco to announce latest additions to its line of products.

The annual September event has become a platform for unveiling new products over past few the years.

Market experts and Apple lovers are anticipating a revamped, advanced version of Apple TV to be previewed at the event, tech news site Tech Radar  has reported.

According to news agency Bloomberg, sources close to the company have verified that the event is slated for next month and CEO Steve Jobs will take the stage to announce an upgraded Apple TV, a new iPod Touch and a video rental service for iTunes.

Apple is said to be in the advanced stages of negotiations with content providers, including Fox Network, a partner channel of News Corp, Walt Disney and others, to strike a deal to offer iPod, iPad and iPhone owners TV shows at 99 cents.
