YouTube UK has launched a new movie service populated with the good, the bad and the ugly of bargain bin video goodness.
The new service - which unsurprisingly contains a mix of B-movie horror, straight to DVD drama and old Jackie Chan flicks - won't exactly slake your thirst for big-budget Hollywood blockbusters or Oscar-winning dramas, but it's free.
A surprisingly high number of the covers on offer feature Californian ladies in various states of undress which could give you another clue as to the quality of movies on offer.
There are, however, a few diamonds in the rough. The Hunt for Gollum is a fan-made prequel to Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy and is definitely worth a look, if only to see what can be achieved on a $5,000 budget.
You can also watch Fritz Lang's seminal sci-fi classic Metropolis which was voted the 12th best film of all time by Empire Magazine.
Low-budget horror fans are also well served with classics like Night of the Living Dead and Driller Killer - and the somewhat less classic Bachelor Party in the Bungalow of the Damned (that's my Friday night sorted then).
It might a bit of effort on your behalf to find the wheat amongst the chaff, but it's substantially cheaper than a night at the movies.
Get the popcorn on!
