Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 To Get Android OS 2.1

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 smartphone is all set receive an update for its Android operating system within weeks and nearly seven months after it was first previewed in Barcelona in February. The X10 will be upgraded to Android OS 2.1 rather than Froyo and it is not known whether other Android-based handsets of the same stable (the X10 Mini and the X10 Mini Pro) will also get the update.
