Nokia will launch its forthcoming flagship smartphone, the N8, in the United Kingdom a week before it launches anywhere else, on the 23rd of September, having missed the August deadline for its release.
The Finnish mobile giant has announced the release date for its highly anticipated N8 smartphone, as the company plans to sell the handset via Nokia Online.
The mobile phone, which was slated for September 27 release, will now be made available online by September 23 for UK customers, a week before the prior launch deadline, according to NokNok TV.
Presented as the heir to the N97 and the N900, the N8 will be based on Symbian 3 operating system along and will feature HD video recording, a 12 Megapixel camera, a Carl Zeiss lens with auto focus and Xenon flash, and a 3.5 inch display screen.
The phone is set to go on sale for around £420 SIM Free and is due for release on the 8th of October according to Play.com.
