The next iteration of Apple's iPad tablet PC device may come with the FaceTime video conferencing feature and a front facing camera.
According to an image released by 9 to 5 Mac, the company is testing the feature on the iPad after making it available on both the iPhone 4 and the new iPod Touch.
The image released by the tech blog shows the iPad is a test mode with video calling listed as an option. 9 To 5 Mac explains that the photo depicts the same menu which was found on the iPhone 4 test devices.
It is still not clear when Apple plans to launch the new iPad with a front facing camera, but FaceTime for the device is likely following its successful inclusion on the iPhone 4 and iPod Touch.
A front facing camera and video calling will also allow the iPad to better compete with Samsung's Galaxy Tab and Dell's Streak devices, which both offer video calling.
