Apple has increased the number of iPad units it produces in a month to 2 million, a Morgan Stanley analyst has revealed.
Recently, Apple reduced the iPad shipping time from several business days to 24 hours, indicating that the demand for the popular device is finally cooling down and Apple is in-tune with supply-demand ratio.
However, according to Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty, the company has increased the number of iPad units it manufactures in a month to two million, and also plans to ramp it up to 3 million units for the upcoming holiday season, tech news site PC World reports.
The hike in the production means that Apple is doing everything it can to stay on par with the overwhelming demand the device has received since it was launched.
Some experts claim that Apple reportedly sells 1 million iPad units every month, and further expect the company to sell 10 million by the end of this year.
