Microsoft confirms Kinect bundle pricing

£300 for 250GB package

Microsoft has finalised the UK price for Xbox bundles featuring the Kinect motion-sensing controller.

For three hundred quid you can get a 250GB slim Xbox 360s complete with the wave-you-hand-in-the-air-like-you-just-don't-care controllerless controller plus a copy of the game Kinect Adventures. But you'll have to wait until November 10th if you're in the UK, which is six days after our colonial cousins in the US of A.

Cheapskates can grab a 4GB version for £250. If you already own the console, you'll need to find £130 for the controller gizmo on its own.

Microsoft has made a horrible hash of marketing the controller formerly known as Project Natal up until now, and you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who has two good words to put together about the controller thus far.

"Underwhelming" seems to be the word most often applied to the Kinect, but we really want to be proven wrong on Microsoft's answer to Nintendo's Wiimote as the concept is intriguing.
