Apple has released the new Mac OS X 10.6.5 build to developers, two weeks after it released the previous version.
According to tech news site Mac Rumors, the sixth build of the operating system focuses on 3D graphics, iCal, Mail, QuickTime, Time Machine and USB Devices.
Apple said in a note to developers: “Mac OS X Software Update 10.6.5 is an update to Mac OS X 10.6. Please refer to the seed note for more details and installation instructions.”
Apple also confirmed in the note that the latest build was not affected by any known issues.
It is still not clear when Apple will launch the full version of Mac OS X 10.6. The last major Mac OS X update came in June last year.
The last build was released alongside the iOS 4.2 beta, due to which Apple has been forced to release a developer seed every fortnight as opposed to the weekly builds it used to send out before.
