Yahoo Enhances Its Search Engine

Yahoo is rolling out changes to its internet search feature, in an attempt to gain ground in the global search engine market.

The new Yahoo Search updates are designed to make the online search experience more visual and appealing for users, who currently favour market giant Google and Microsoft's Bing search engines for their searches online.

The enhancements have been made not only on the desktop version, but also the mobile version of Yahoo Search, and a new list of Hot Topics has been added on the upper right side of its main home page.

Yahoo's newly revamped mobile search version will now also offer support HTML 5 web technology.

The new Yahoo search will allow users to view search results in a more aesthetically pleasing box with vertical tabs, instead of a long list of website links as is found in the old version.

Yahoo has also enhanced the suggestion feature on the platform, allowing users to look for topics related to their current search query.
