HTC's upcoming Android 2.2-based Gratia smartphone is set to arrive in the UK early 2011.
The phone, which is the European version of HTC's Aria smartphone, is being touted as one of the best Android offerings to hit the markets, offering value for money and superior functionality.
The HTC Gratia will be powered by a 600MHz processor and will offer a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen which will boast a resolution of 640x480 pixels. The smartphone will also have a 5 MP camera complete with an auto-focus feature.
The phone is set to be available in three colours, Charcoal Black, Forest Green and Pearl White.
Although the price and carrier availability is still not known, it is set to launch in the UK within the first three months of 2011.
President of HTC Europe, Middle East and Africa, Florian Seiche, said in a statement to T3: “HTC Gratia offers something completely different. Its compact size, beautiful design and power with Android 2.2, combined with its personalised experience through HTC Sense, is uniquely compelling.”
