MacBook Air mini already in short supply

It's only been out for a week, but the 11-inch Macbook Air looks like it's already in short supply both in the UK and the US of A.

Online Apple stores on both sides of the pond have pushed delivery times for the Razor-sharp laptop back to up to three business days which is a clear indication that Apple's latest sub-notebook offering is selling like hotcakes.

The £850 64GB base model seems to have caught the imagination of both the buying public and reviewers with critical comments about the super slim device few and far between.

Impatient Macolytes can still get the 11-inch 12GB model (£1000) the 13-inch 128GB version (£1100) or the top specced 13-inch 246GB version (£1350) within 24 hours.
